InvinciBull VPN is a relatively new product of US-based cybersecurity company Finjan Holdings. This VPN service is primarily focused on mobile users.

Although basic encryption and geo-spoofing are provided with InvinciBull’s desktop apps, the VPN’s strongest features are only available through the mobile apps. The mobile version includes a feature-rich in-app browser, in addition to encrypting all of your device’s connections online.

InvinciBull has 76 servers located in 27 countries. Unfortunately, none of its servers can unblock Netflix.

Streaming - Does InvinciBull Work with Netflix?

While we were successfully able to bypass geo-restrictions on some websites, unfortunately we didn’t have the same luck with major streaming platforms. InvinciBull’s servers weren’t able to get past the VPN bans on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime during our tests.

InvinciBull Speeds - Desktop v. Mobile

Since InvinciBull is so mobile-focused, we tested InvinciBull’s connection speeds on both the desktop version and through the in-app InvinciBull browser.

Before connecting to InvinciBull, we started out with a base speed of 70 Mbps. When connecting to a nearby InvinciBull US server using the MacOS app, we averaged around 34 Mbps.

We tested the same server again while connecting through InvinciBull’s built-in mobile browser. This time, we averaged an impressive 45-50 Mbps.

Speed test on an InvinciBull server in the US.

These are excellent mobile connection speeds, especially since many mobile browsers suffer from slow connections.

Security - Is InvinciBull Safe?

InvinciBull masks your IP address and protects your Internet connection with strong AES 256-bit encryption and leak protection. This keeps your data safe and private, even when connected to unsecured public Wi-Fi networks.

The browser displays a privacy rating for each website you visit, so you know when to be extra cautious. It also features private browsing and easy control of your browsing history.

Does InvinciBull Keep Logs?

Despite some robust security features, you may not be pleased with InvinciBull’s privacy policy if your goal is total anonymity.InvinciBull’s parent company, Finjan, is based in the US and is therefore under the jurisdiction of the 5/9/14-Eyes Alliance.

They collect the following information from users:

  • Name and email address
  • Billing information
  • Your real IP address
  • Your real location
  • Your unique device ID, brand, model, operating system, and language settings
  • Your network provider
  • URLs you visit while using the Safe Scan feature (although they claim this information isn’t associated with your personal information)
  • Dates that you use the app and the amount of data that is used

They also place cookies on your device that collect and share information about your usage trends with third party web analytics services, although they claim this information is collected anonymously.

Does InvinciBull Have an Adblocker?

InvinciBull’s built-in mobile browser for Android and iOS includes advanced anti-tracking and ad-blocking. You have the ability to easily select which trackers and ads to allow and which to block. The basic security offered by the desktop versions is enough for many users, but InvinciBull’s mobile versions are much more feature-rich.

Price and Value for Money

InvinciBull offers a choice of monthly and annual pricing options for its pro plan. Each of the plans includes the same features and is protected by a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Does InvinciBull Have a Free Version?

Although InvinciBull does not offer a free trial, the basic plan is completely free and includes all of the same features as the pro plan. This is great since many providers don’t make their premium features available on their free tier.

However, there are a few restrictions on the free version. In addition to a 1GB data limit per month, you are also not able to manually select a server location. Instead, you are automatically connected to the closest server to your location.

Is InvinciBull Compatible with my Device?

InvinciBull has dedicated apps for Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices. However, features differ significantly between desktop and mobile platforms. Advanced features like ad-blocking, Safe Scan, and advanced anti-tracking are only available through the mobile app’s built-in InvinciBull web browser.

A significant advantage of InvinciBull is the ability to deploy the VPN across an unlimited quantity of devices using just one subscription.

InvinciBull Customer Service

If you need to get in touch with InvinciBull customer support, you can fill out a contact form on their website and wait for them to respond. Unfortunately, there is no live chat service or a phone helpline to call.

Although we would much rather have access to a live chat or phone service, our experience with InvinciBull’s customer support was pleasant and helpful. There is also an FAQ page on the website.

User Experience

The InvinciBull app’s interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate. You can automatically connect to the closest server or manually select a server from the drop down list of locations.

InvinciBull’s mobile apps have a built-in tutorial that explains how to use each of the advanced features.

Tutorial

Within the mobile app, you also have the option to automatically connect to the VPN at all times or to select familiar Wi-Fi networks that will be excluded from automatic connection.

Conclusion

InvinciBull protects your connection with secure encryption across all platforms, but this VPN really shines with its mobile app. The built-in InvinciBull browser is this VPN’s strongest feature. The browser is fast, user-friendly, easy to customize, and features ad-blocking and advanced anti-tracking.

However, because of the amount of information that InvinciBull collects on its users, this VPN may not be the best choice for you if privacy and anonymity are your biggest goals. We were also disappointed by the lack of an automatic kill switch and the VPN’s inability to access popular streaming sites.

These are serious concerns for any VPN user. If they worry you, take a look at one of our top 10 VPNs. They have the strictest data privacy rules and offer the best security in the industry.

If you're looking for a VPN for Netflix, I recommend ExpressVPN instead. Unlike InvinciBull, ExpressVPN can unblock 140+ streaming services, including Netflix.

InvinciBull offers a basic free plan, in addition to paid pro plans. The free plan offers all of the same security features as the pro plan, but there is a 1GB limit on data usage.

The free plan automatically connects you to the nearest server, while the pro plan allows you to manually select different server locations.

With InvinciBull’s pro plan, you can select from several subscription lengths. Although there is no free trial of the pro plan, you can use InvinciBull’s free version to test out the service. There is also a 7-day money-back guarantee.

You can pay for the pro plan using a credit card or through your iTunes account for the iOS version. Unfortunately, there is no cryptocurrency payment option.

Reliability & Support

3.6

InvinciBull does not offer live chat support or a customer service phone line to call. Instead, the only way to get in touch with customer support is through the contact form on the InvinciBull website.

Although you may have to wait a few hours for a response, we found the support team to be pleasant and helpful.

The InvinciBull website also has helpful information available on their FAQ page, as well as general information about VPN functions. We were impressed with the user-friendly in-app tutorial on mobile devices.

The Bottom Line

Fast connection speeds and advanced features for mobile users, but not ideal for anonymity

Although InvinciBull offers good speeds and strong encryption across all platforms, this VPN is clearly geared towards mobile users. The InvinciBull mobile app comes with a built-in web browser that offers some robust advanced security and anti-tracking features, while the desktop versions are not nearly as sophisticated.

Despite the attractive interface and unique features, InvinciBull lacks a kill switch and also falls short when it comes to privacy and anonymity due to the fact that it collects usage logs.

The worst VPN I tested!

I tried the free version. After download I tried to launch, it blocked twice the laptop (windows 10)! Then impossible to uninstall. There is nothing called invincibull in the start menu. It doesn't appear in the uninstaller program of window. It looks very sneaky. Bad feeling to be trojaned! Impossible to find how to delete my account on their website.

It has the worse customer support in the industry.

Their dashboard is archaic by any ergonomic standards. It is clunky. Their customer support is non-existent. I waited over 5 days to get a simple response and asked twice. I cancelled my subscription. One star
