At this point, you will be directed to the final stage of the signing up process where you will create the credentials for your HMA account. Under your email, choose a password for your HMA account, confirm the password, and click on “Create

5. Download the VPN

Once you click on “Create”, the latest version of the HMA app will automatically download. The website detects the operating system you’re using and downloads the compatible app.

6. Open the file to install

Once the download is complete, click to open the setup file or open it from the folder that you downloaded it to. A pop-up window will appear asking for administrative permission to open the file. Click on “Yes”.

We’re almost done. Just click on “Install” to start the process and let it take its path.

Once the installation is complete, make sure that the checkbox labeled “Start HMA! Pro VPN” is checked and click on “Finish” to finalize the installation process and launch the HMA app.

8. Enter your credentials to get started

Once the HMA app launches, you’ll be asked either to log in with your account credentials or enter a license key. Click on “Log In”.

Enter your HMA account credentials starting with your username or email that you used to register. Then enter the password you used when creating the account and click on “Enter”.

9. Configure your VPN

Now that you’re in and all set to connect, the interface and navigating through the app is very easy and straightforward. It all comes down to 3 different modes: Instant mode, which allows you to just connect automatically to the most suitable server at a single click; location mode, which allows you to select among servers the specific location you wish to connect to; and finally, Freedom mode, which allows you to bypass the strongest firewalls if you are in a location with strong online restrictions.

You can also manage more settings from the menu button in the top left side of the app window.

We hope that you enjoy using HMA. Tell us how your installation went.  Write a review for our community.
